The Inik collection is inspired by my Haitian-American heritage and glam rock culture. Inik means unique in Creole, I wanted to create pieces that were one of a kind and made people feel unapologetically themselves. These garments were created using sustainable methods and materials e.g. upcycling, zero-waste pattern cutting, sustainable sourcing, etc. Also, findings ways to reduce waste in the apparel production process.
